Course
Objectives
This
course aims to:
1.
Reinforce students comprehension of
English through practical business
communication scenarios.
This includes engaging in conversations, asking for and providing
information
related to business situations, conducting telephone conversations,
crafting
business emails, scheduling appointments, writing memos, managing daily
work
schedules, facilitating meetings, delivering presentations and
demonstrations,
applying for jobs, negotiating and signing contracts, and interpreting
operational manuals and digital media.
2. Develop students English
language proficiency across
the four core
skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This will involve
listening
to and following instructions, expressing intent and commitment, and
applying
these skills to business planning through practical exercises.
3. Foster a positive
attitude and mindset
towards oneself and others. Students will be encouraged
to act responsibly towards themselves, colleagues, society, and
organizations.
